This travel stamp features Tuzigoot National Monument. The Tuzigoot Pueblo, built on a desert hilltop, was the site of some of America's first entrepreneurs. The Sinagua people constructed the pueblo's first dwellings around 1000 and often bartered with trade partners who lived hundreds of miles away. A short trail leads visitors through the ancient 110-room pueblo that once accommodated more than two hundred people.
