The roadrunner is a member of the cuckoo family from Mexico and the southwestern United States. Roadrunners are long-legged birds with four toes on each foot; two face forward and two face backward. They are about 22 inches long, with streaked brown and white plumage and long tail feathers. Clumsy in flight, roadrunners prefer to stay on the ground and run down their prey. They feed primarily on insects, lizards, and small snakes-including rattlesnakes! Now you can build your own roadrunner with our 291-piece mini block set.
