These jasper post earrings by Navajo artist Marita Jackson offer a graceful and earthy elegance. Each earring is hand-shaped and polished in sterling silver, framing the warm tones of jasper. The post-back style makes them comfortable and versatile, suited for both everyday wear and special occasions.
Marita grew up near Hubbell Trading Post in Ganado, Arizona, where she was first drawn to Native artistry at age 17. It was there she met her late husband, silversmith Tommy Jackson. Together, they shared a life immersed in craft—Tommy making jewelry on weekends while Marita buffed his work. Over time, Marita developed her own style, eventually signing her pieces “Marie.” Today, she carries forward that legacy, crafting pieces that honor both personal memory and cultural heritage.
The jasper stones she chooses highlight the beauty of the natural world, their earthy patterns framed in the soft gleam of silver. These one-of-a-kind earrings are more than a statement of style—they are a bridge between land, story, and enduring artistry.
Care instructions: Store in a cool, dry place, preferably in an airtight container or anti-tarnish pouches, and avoid exposure to harsh chemicals, water, and prolonged sunlight. Regularly clean with a soft cloth and mild silver polish or a baking soda/water mixture and wear it often to maintain its luster.
