El Malpais/Continental Divide Hiking Stick Medallion

For generations hikers in Europe have collected pictorial medallions of different regions to attach to their staff. Each unique collectible serves as a memento of a new region explored or a new trail conquered, and this particular trail is a doozy. Stretching from the northern to the southern border of The United States and running through several national parks from Glacier National Park to Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument, the Continental Divide trail cuts its way into American History.

The medallions are hand made by a master engraver and then painted with a durable enamel. Sold with brads for attaching them to a hiking staff.
