The Bent's Old Fort National Historic Site pin features a colorful image of a Conestoga wagon crossing the plains. These wagons played a key role in travel and trade. Many of them were seen at this adobe fort, which was a key stop on the Santa Fe Trail. Trappers, traders, merchants, and the Cheyenne and Arapaho people gathered here in cultural exchange and trade.
