A small patch of green in the heart of the Mojave Desert marks the location of Kelso Depot. Built in 1924, Kelso Depot served as a train station, cafe, and dormitory housing for Union Pacific Railroad employees until it closed in 1985. The National Park Service renovated the building and reopened it in 2005 as a visitor center for Mojave National Preserve. Remember your visit to Kelso Depot and Mojave National Preserve with our collectible patch. This colorful, sturdy patch is made of 100 percent cotton with a dye-sublimated image, and can be easily ironed on to any fabric in just 30 seconds, or stitched in place.
