The Washita Battlefield National Historic Site wooden ornament features an image of the American bison on the open plains, with traditional tipis and the rolling Oklahoma hills in the background.

Designed by Anderson Design Group, this badge honors the complex history of this historic site. It was here that Lt. Col. George Armstrong Custer led the 7th US Calvary on a surprise dawn attack on a peaceful Southern Cheyenne Village. This tragic event resulted in the deaths of Chief Black Kettle and many others. Today this Indigenous heritage site is a place of remembrance and reflection.

Display this ornament in your home or on your car mirror as a reminder of the history of this important place.
