Guadalupe Mountains National Park Hiking Stick Medallion - Benchmark

Geodiscs, also called survey marks, which are permanent markers labelling key points on Earth's surface. Geodetic surveys determine and record many important features of a key point, such as its latitude, longitude, and elevation. The geodetic mark displays some of this information. This geodisc marks the elevation of Guadalupe Peak in Guadalupe Mountains National Park.
