Measuring 20 inches long with a bold pendant, the piece features polished black onyx stones framed in sterling silver. Rope accents highlight the natural beauty of each stone, creating a piece that is as versatile as it is elegant. 

John’s journey as an artist began at age nine, when he assisted his mother, Terecita, after his father’s passing. Guided also by his aunt and uncle—renowned Heishi bead makers Mary and Albert Coriz—John absorbed traditional techniques that shaped his artistic foundation. Though he spent years working in construction and operating heavy machinery, his heart remained with jewelry-making, his first love. 

This necklace embodies that devotion. The onyx’s deep, reflective surface pairs effortlessly with sterling silver, giving the design both strength and refinement. The cluster arrangement adds movement and dimension, ensuring the piece captures attention without overpowering.
