White Sands National Park Bolihua Ornament
Remember your national park adventures every holiday season with our bolihua ornaments! Bolihua is a reverse glass painting technique practiced in China since the early 1700s. The painted image is applied by hand to the inside of a glass bulb through holes at the top and bottom using special narrow brushes and pointed sticks. The design detail is applied in layers over several days, so each ornament is absolutely unique. This one features a scene at White Sands National Park that depicts a variety of plants and animals found at the park, including the soaptree yucca and a roadrunner.
