Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument Ceramic Ornament
Remember your national park adventures every holiday season with our ceramic badge ornaments! We've teamed with the skilled ceramicists at Deneen Pottery to craft a series of ornaments, each depicting an image that best represents one of our partner parks. This ornament, representing Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument features an image of the Gran Quivira ruins, the largest of the three main ruins protected at the park. Gran Quivira was a vast city with multiple pueblos, and kivas. Mound 7, a 226 room structure from the Pueblo IV period (A.D.1275/1300-1600), is the largest and only fully excavated pueblo at the site.
