Mojave National Preserve Park Sticker - Kelso Depot
A small patch of green in the heart of the Mojave Desert marks the location of Kelso Depot. Built in 1924, Kelso Depot served as a train station, cafe, and dormitory housing for Union Pacific Railroad employees until it closed in 1985. The National Park Service renovated the building and reopened it in 2005 as a visitor center for Mojave National Preserve.
