Sacred smoke created from burning medicinal or sacred plants is an aspect of many cultures and religions the world over. In North America, the practice common to Indigenous peoples is called smudging. This kit includes a bundle of white sage, representing sacred gifts from Mother Earth, and an abalone shell, representing the element of water.
